MachineWorks is pleased to announce three new customers have signed up to develop MachineWorks-based applications.

Contour tools rendered in MachineWorks

The MachineWorks’ offices temporarily closed in March 2020 due to the national lockdown in the UK in response to escalating COVID infection rates. Since then, like many other software companies, the MachineWorks and Polygonica teams have been working from home and this is likely to continue for the foreseeable future.

As well as continuing to provide regular support and patches for existing customers and preparing for the MachineWorks 8.3 and Polygonica 3.0 releases, MachineWorks is pleased to announce three new customers have signed up to develop MachineWorks-based applications in this period. The new applications under development include an offline CNC trainer, an innovative new type of cutting force analysis and a proprietary CAM programming software designed specifically for users of a well-known Machine Tool builder.

MachineWorks’ toolkits are embedded within the software tools of the majority of leading CAM vendors as listed by leading market research organisation CIMdata, including Dassault, Vero Software, Autodesk, OPEN MIND, Cimatron/Gibbs, Tebis’ DCAM, SolidCAM, TopSolid, and DP Technology.
