MachineWorks appoints a new software developer

Jon studied Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge followed by a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. Before joining MachineWorks, Jon’s research focussed on maximising the energy efficiency of railway operations, particularly using graphics cards to accelerate the simulation of complex systems.

The technical team is always looking for new ways to add wider ranges of skills to expand the specialised core functionality of MachineWorks APIs. The addition of Jon to the MachineWorks team means exploring different ways of approaching market requirements and the continuous enhancement of software performance.
