MachineWorks libraries support a wide range of predefined and user-defined cutters and holders. Complex stocks and fixtures can be defined and transformed to simulate the whole machine tool.

MachineWorks can simulate clashes between any of the components in the system. Flexible control over animation allows the user to watch an entire simulation or turbo through to points of interest.

 

Verification

MachineWorks toolkit is the fastest verification technology available on the market today.

By comparing the processed stock model with the original design, MachineWorks quickly identifies, lists and displays surface gouges, rest material and rapid-feed clashes.

 

Toolpath Generation

MachineWorks can compute toolpaths in an environment closely coupled with our simulation and verification libraries.

They provide fast generation of guaranteed gouge-free toolpaths, within the specified tolerance. Our strategies include area and rest roughing, water line, rasters, radial and spiral cuts, constant stepover, pencil and parallel pencil.

 

Analysis

MachineWorks APIs have been designed to provide extensive analysis capabilities that deliver improved efficiency at each stage of the manufacturing process.

The in-process stock geometry is fully accessible to the host application at any time during the simulation and verification process. This allows an unprecedented basis for development of analysis and optimization algorithms, including rest-material and inaccessible-area detection, rapid-feed identification and feed-rate optimization.
