CCNC machine and controller manufacturer FIDIA, has embedded MachineWorks' libraries in Vi-Mill to create an anti-crash system with a look-ahead function. It allows a visual check of any possible collisions between tool, machine and stock in both manual and automatic modes of operation.

Edgecam - CAM system Edgecam for Vero Software is using MachineWorks engines in its mill-turn simulation to offer a full kinematic simulation package. The simulator also offers full collision detection, including many display options which allows the user full control over every aspect of the simulation. Comparison functions show if the part is machined as expected before outputting to the machine tool.

PEPS wire cutting uses MachineWorks' technology to deliver True Machine-Kinematics Simulation. This allows the user to visualise the material being removed and to check for possible collisions and undercuts. PEPS offers the necessary functionality for all machining tasks including the drive of rotary axis and handling systems. The multi-axis wire cutting module controls positioning and sychronisation with rotating workpieces.
CAM system from the Delcam family, FeatureCAM, integrated MachineWorks' APIs in 2001 to provide complete simulation of the machine tool environment including complex multi-axis. It also identifies collisions between the machine components, spindle, holder, tooling and part stock avoiding costly mistakes.
